The Procket tester family is designed to meet the needs of today’s automated functional testing. The Procket tester family is a general-purpose test system platform for the functional testing of electronic devices. You can use Procket testers for both board-level and end-product testing after final assembly, as well as product verification tests in the design phase. Procket testers are targeted at typical industrial volumes and product mixes.
Shortened product lifecycles and increased complexity, together with decreasing market prices, are driving NPI (New Product Introduction) costs down. The cost and time of product ramp-up can be decreased, and the quality of testing increased, by aligning testing with the product line's roadmap and platform–based tester development strategy. Using a clear testing strategy with experienced test developers, together with proper DFT (Design For Test) methods and tools provided by the platform, the development of a test system is fast and efficient. The capability of a test system is verified with MSA (Measurement System Analysis) methods and the production quality is controlled by SPC (Statistic Process Control) tools. Both methods provide valuable feedback for product and test development strategy.

Procket Hardware
The Procket test system is built into a standard equipment rack. The heart of the system is either a PXI chassis with PXI controller, or an industrial PC. Most of the measurement instruments are PXI- or PCI-based acquisition devices or other modular instruments. Stand-alone measurement devices, like power supplies, loads and DMMs, are placed directly into the rack and can be controlled either through GPIB, Ethernet or serial port. With modular design, the interconnection can be upgraded for new measurement devices without losing compatibility to the former adapters. Interconnection can handle up to 1200 signals, including differential analog channels, high speed digital I/O, Ethernet, Firewire, USB, serial, 3-phase AC, high current DC and HF signals. Common measurement equipment, and standard interconnection, provides high recycle rate, cuts down the development time and increases the quality, thus making the Procket test system a cost effective solution in the long run.
Procket Software
The Procket software platform integrates LabVIEW and TestStand together with flexibility, efficiency and ease of use. Epotel provides a LabVIEW driver library for the most common measurement equipment. Library functions are fully documented, tested and verified. A reliable driver code with standard library interface promotes high reuse of code and cuts down on development time.
Procket Flex
The Procket Flex-station provides the highest flexibility and comes with Procket interconnection. It provides a reliable and maintenance-free adapter interface. The product-specific test adapter is connected to the equipment rack via Procket interconnection mechanics. You can test several products through a common test station simply by changing a product specific test adapter.
Procket Light
Procket Light utilises the same Procket test equipment and rack mechanics as the Procket Flex-stations, but comes with a changeable pinbead instead of a changeable product adapter. Procket Light is most suitable for product families with low to medium complexity.
Procket Compact
Procket Compact is targeted at products not belonging to larger product families. Procket Compact comes with fixed connection to DUT (Device Under Test) and is ideal for low mix product portfolios.
Testing platform for the software intensive projects to be used from the research and development period to the manufacturing. This prepares the way to very early phase target testing and helps to make very specific system tests during the electronic devices manufacturing. Supports reusability of the test library for the similar products.
