NeoFlow is a modelling and simulation domain-specific tool that allows simultaneous specification of mechanical paperpath layout and control logic of this assembly.

Development and deployment of the NeoFlow tool within the TWINS project brought to Neopost: 

• drastic reductions in mechanical layout development lead-time, amounting at 60.000 € a year saving only on the labour costs
• as a multidisciplinary co-design tool, a fraction higher savings by eliminating cross-discipline miscommunication and related rework waste, thanks to allowing a collaborative and concurrent developments between the mechanical and control logic architects
• significantly simplified work of architects, by creating an interactive environment which stimulates innovation
• new means for optimising the product qualities, making them more competitive
• an excellent communication medium for the various business stakeholders.
